CPPCC Members Urge Accelerated Regulatory Framework for Autonomous Driving to Enable Scale Deployment

National Committee members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and industry experts recently called for accelerating institutional support in the field of autonomous driving to help China gain a competitive edge in the intense global race. Currently, China's autonomous driving industry is at a "singularity moment," with technology transitioning from testing and validation to a critical phase of large-scale application. The committee members recommended fostering policy innovation, opening up more application scenarios, and overhauling relevant regulatory frameworks to support the commercialization of autonomous driving and drive high-quality industrial development.
