SAIC MG's New All-Electric Sedan Spied, Possibly Named MG07

Recently, spy photos of a new SAIC MG sedan undergoing road testing have been leaked. The vehicle features a dynamic fastback design, equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR and semi-recessed door handles, emphasizing a sporty and tech-forward aesthetic. According to automotive blogger @DeLuAiKaiChe, the car is expected to be powered by Momenta’s advanced intelligent driving solution and built on an all-new platform, with no direct relation to the current gasoline-powered MG7. Autohome reported that the new model is likely to be named the MG07. MG previously released a teaser image but has not disclosed further details. For reference, the current MG7 is a combustion-engine model offered with 1.5T and 2.0T powertrains, priced between RMB 116,900 and RMB 154,900 (after limited-time subsidies).
