BMW and CATL Sign MoU to Reduce EV Carbon Footprint

On February 25, during German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's visit to China, BMW Group Chairman Oliver Zipse signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CATL. The two parties will focus on collaborative decarbonization across the battery supply chain to systematically reduce carbon emissions throughout the entire lifecycle of electric vehicles, further deepening their cooperation in sustainability.
