Tesla has begun production of its autonomous electric vehicle, the Cybercab, at its Gigafactory in Austin, Texas. The first physical unit officially rolled off the production line on February 17, a milestone the company later confirmed on social media. Recent aerial footage shows three gold-colored Cybercabs parked within the facility, instantly recognizable by their distinctive design. The vehicle features only a single door on one side and lacks a steering wheel, pedals, and rearview mirrors, offering just two seats and operating entirely via AI. Although mass production of the Cybercab was originally slated to begin in April 2025, it remains unclear whether continuous production has already commenced, as aerial views cannot penetrate inside the factory building, leaving output details pending further confirmation.
