On February 26, GAC Group held its 2026 High-Quality Development Conference, explicitly setting the goal for this year to restore vehicle production and sales to the 2-million-unit level and achieve positive growth in output value alongside continuous improvement in operational performance. In 2025, the group reported terminal sales of 1.8135 million vehicles, with exports of its self-owned brands reaching nearly 130,000 units—outpacing the industry average growth rate. On the technology front, GAC has launched a pilot production line for all-solid-state batteries, and the Hyper GT Summit Edition—the first domestically produced vehicle in China equipped entirely with homegrown chips—has successfully rolled off the production line. As the exclusive official automotive partner for the 15th National Games and the accompanying Paralympic Special Olympics, GAC successfully delivered comprehensive vehicle support services for the events. Regarding joint ventures, GAC Toyota is advancing its "equal intelligence for ICE and EV" strategy, reinforcing its strengths in internal combustion engine vehicles while expanding its new energy vehicle exports. GAC Honda is accelerating its transformation to address gaps in electrification and intelligent technologies. For its self-owned brands, GAC will focus on three key strategic battles: enhancing user-centric capabilities, breaking through core technologies, and developing high-value, hit models.
