WEY V9X Unveiled: Full-Size AI-Powered Luxury SUV with 4.4s 0-100 km/h and 800V Fast Charging

On February 27, Wei Jianjun, Chairman of Great Wall Motor, publicly solicited suggestions from netizens on Weibo regarding how to authentically and effectively promote the all-new WEY V9X. Built on the Guiyuan S platform, the V9X is positioned as a “full-size AI luxury six-seater flagship SUV,” measuring 5,299 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,825 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,150 mm. Exterior highlights include a full-width LED light bar, an illuminated floating logo, a roof-mounted LiDAR unit, and fender-mounted cameras, enabling advanced driver-assistance capabilities. Powering the vehicle is a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds when fully charged, or 4.7 seconds in low-battery (charge-depleted) mode, with a top speed of 210 km/h. The V9X is expected to feature an 800V hybrid architecture and 6C batteries, offering two WLTC pure-electric range variants: 240 km and 363 km. A mere five minutes of charging can replenish up to 200 km of range. Wei Jianjun emphasized that promotional efforts must be fact-based, clearly highlighting the vehicle’s intelligent cabin, electric all-wheel drive, and performance advantages.
