On February 28, Xiaomi Auto posted a teaser on social media featuring an image of a mysterious low-slung sports car with a full-width taillight, accompanied by the caption “Coming soon...,” sparking speculation about its first supercar. Reports suggest the vehicle could be an electric concept supercar developed jointly by Xiaomi and Gran Turismo for the Vision GranTurismo (VGT) project, designed to showcase Xiaomi’s cutting-edge electric performance technology. Earlier, eyewitnesses in Barcelona, Spain, captured photos of a camouflaged test vehicle bearing Xiaomi-branded wheel hubs. The concept car is expected to make its official debut at MWC 2026, marking a key step in Xiaomi Auto’s strategy to enter the global premium market and advance its planned European launch in 2027. Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing previously revealed that the company will simultaneously unveil new products spanning its smartphone, automotive, and AI ecosystem at the event.
