In 2025, Shanghai secured a total of 4,463 key projects citywide, with a combined investment of RMB 1.26 trillion. These include major industrial projects such as Toyota Lexus, the second phase of the C919 large passenger aircraft program, and China’s Fusion Energy initiative, spanning cutting-edge sectors like high-end manufacturing, aerospace, and new energy.
