Effective April 1, 2026, Daniel Weissland will assume the role of General Manager of FAW Audi Sales Co., Ltd., succeeding Michael Arndt, who has successfully completed his term. Arndt will transition to become Managing Director of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand in Korea. Weissland brings over 25 years of international automotive industry experience, having previously served as President of Audi USA, where he spearheaded the largest product rollout in Audi’s U.S. history. Audi stated that this leadership change aims to strengthen its China market strategy and ensure a smooth business transition. In 2026, Audi plans to launch several new-generation models specifically tailored for the Chinese market, including the all-new A6L, further solidifying its competitiveness in the premium vehicle segment.
