Recently, Guangzhou Petrochemical successfully obtained the "Clean Hydrogen" certification under the "Low-Carbon Hydrogen, Clean Hydrogen, and Renewable Hydrogen Standards and Evaluation" program administered by China’s National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration Evaluation Platform. These standards, developed by the China Hydrogen Alliance, quantitatively assess carbon emissions from hydrogen production processes. This certification marks a significant breakthrough for Guangzhou Petrochemical in the hydrogen industry and lays a solid foundation for supporting green transitions in transportation and other sectors with high-quality clean hydrogen. Currently, Guangzhou Petrochemical’s hydrogen supply center produces 5,100 tons of fuel cell-grade hydrogen annually, with a purity level as high as 99.999%, making it the largest hydrogen supply hub in South China.
