On March 1, Leapmotor Auto—a brand under NIO—announced a "Full Purchase Tax Coverage" policy: customers purchasing the L60 and L90 models via the battery-as-a-service (BaaS) subscription model will receive a full purchase tax subsidy. For those buying the vehicles outright, subsidies of up to RMB 8,156 for the L60 and RMB 10,262 for the L90 will be offered. Additionally, both models are eligible for a 7-year ultra-low-interest financing plan: the L60 starts at a down payment of RMB 29,900 with daily payments as low as RMB 69 (including battery rental fees), while the L90 requires a minimum down payment of RMB 35,900 and daily payments starting at RMB 89. Furthermore, L90 customers who receive their vehicle invoices after January 1, 2026, and have not received the purchase tax subsidy will be compensated with 80,000 loyalty points. Leapmotor Auto was established in May 2024 and had delivered 100,000 new vehicles by October 2025.
