Dongfeng Fengxing’s new compact all-electric SUV, the Star Ocean T5, was officially launched recently, with two variants—Joy Edition and Prestige Edition—priced between RMB 153,900 and RMB 161,900. Positioned in the RMB 150,000-class family vehicle segment, the Star Ocean T5 delivers a CLTC-rated combined range of 530 km. The exterior features a closed-off front grille, distinctive “7-shaped” LED headlights, and a full-width taillight bar. It is available in six body colors and comes standard with 17-inch low-drag alloy wheels (18-inch optional on the higher trim). Inside, the cabin boasts a 13-inch floating central touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster, along with features such as voice control, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. The Prestige Edition further adds power-adjustable seats with ventilation and heating functions. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a front-mounted single electric motor producing a maximum output of 120 kW, paired with a 64.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack.
