Joyson Electronics has achieved a key milestone in advanced intelligent driving: its first L3-level intelligent driving domain controller is scheduled for mass production in mid-2027 and will be deployed on a model from a leading, well-known automaker. Meanwhile, its L4-level intelligent driving domain controller based on a domestic chip platform is set to be used in low-speed autonomous logistics vehicles, potentially becoming China’s first mass-produced L4 domain controller solution. As regulations for intelligent driving continue to mature, the industry anticipates 2026 to be the inaugural year for L3 mass production, while L4 solutions are expected to achieve their first commercial breakthroughs in specific scenarios. Joyson stated that its domain controllers support commercial applications such as Robotaxis and RoboVans. Additionally, the company secured over RMB 20 billion in global intelligent driving-related orders in the third quarter of 2025.
