On March 2, Denza, BYD's premium new energy vehicle brand, officially entered the Philippine market with a launch event in Manila. The first model introduced is the flagship luxury MPV—the all-new Denza D9—marking a critical step in Denza’s global expansion strategy. The D9 is available in both DM-i plug-in hybrid and all-electric variants. The all-electric version delivers a CLTC-rated range of up to 620 km, while the plug-in hybrid achieves a remarkably low WLTC fuel consumption of just 0.99 L/100 km. The vehicle features a two-tone exterior design, full-width LED taillights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it boasts multiple screens—including a triple-screen setup at the front, rear-seat headrest displays, and an HUD (Head-Up Display)—blending cutting-edge technology with premium luxury. With dimensions of 5,250 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,900 mm in height, along with a 3,110 mm wheelbase, the D9 offers a spacious "2+2+3" seven-seat configuration.
