At MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Xiaomi officially unveiled its first Vision Gran Turismo concept hypercar—the Xiaomi Vision GT. Featuring a low-slung, wide-body design and massive circular "Star Ring" taillights, the physical car delivers a stronger visual impact than earlier renderings. Created at the invitation of Kazunori Yamauchi, producer of the Gran Turismo video game series, Xiaomi has become the 36th global and first Chinese brand to join the Vision Gran Turismo project, as well as the first technology company to participate. Xiaomi explicitly stated that the vehicle will not enter mass production and will instead debut exclusively on the Gran Turismo gaming platform, showcasing the company's capabilities and vision in intelligent automotive design and technology.
