BYD has officially released the official images of its first D-segment flagship SUV under the Dynasty Network, named "Tang." The vehicle will debut on March 5. With a body length of 5,263 mm or 5,302 mm and a wheelbase of 3,130 mm, the new SUV offers a seven-seat layout and comes standard with a panoramic glass roof. Optional features include air suspension, multiple exterior styling packages, and various wheel designs. According to filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Tang is available in two height configurations—1,790 mm or 1,800 mm—and has a maximum curb weight of 2,970 kg, with a top speed of 250 km/h. The all-electric version is built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 Evo, featuring a full-domain 1,000V high-voltage architecture, supporting 10C ultra-fast charging batteries and a 1,000A current, enabling a peak charging power of up to 1,000 kW.
