Recently, spy photos of the LeDao L80 undergoing road testing have been revealed. The new model retains the brand’s signature closed-off front fascia and split-headlight design, while the rear features a full-width taillight and a spoiler. Some test vehicles are equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR unit, signaling advanced intelligent driving capabilities. With an overall length exceeding 5 meters and a wheelbase surpassing 3 meters, the L80 will be offered in both five- and six-seat configurations. Inside, the cabin follows a “second living room” concept, featuring a floating central touchscreen and a horizon-themed display panel. It is powered by the company’s self-developed 5nm “Shenji NX9031” intelligent driving chip. Powertrain options include a single-motor rear-wheel-drive variant and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version. The AWD model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds and delivers a CLTC-rated range of 550–570 kilometers. The vehicle supports 600kW ultra-fast charging and a 3-minute battery swap, enabling a 250-kilometer range boost in just 5 minutes. The LeDao L80 is scheduled for official launch around April 20, with pricing announced and deliveries commencing in mid-May.
