NIO's sub-100,000-yuan all-electric compact car, the Firefly, has already surpassed 40,000 users less than a year after its launch. Following last year’s release of three limited special editions—"Nomadic Mélange," "Nocturnal Creatures," and "Pegasus Rhapsody"—more special edition models are set to debut this year. The Firefly is currently available in nine countries and is planned for expansion into nearly 40 markets, including Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. It will be launched soon in Thailand, becoming the second right-hand-drive market after Singapore. Customers who place an order between now and March 31, 2026, can enjoy multiple purchase incentives, including a RMB 3,000 customization credit, a RMB 2,000 purchase tax subsidy, or a complimentary 7 kW home charging station. The Firefly was officially launched on April 19, 2025, with a price range of RMB 119,800 to RMB 125,800. It offers a CLTC-rated range of 420 km, powered by a 105 kW rear-mounted motor and a top speed of 150 km/h.
