The new Avatr 12 will officially open for pre-orders on March 20. The highlight of the new model is its integration of Huawei’s latest-generation 896-line LiDAR, which elevates perception capabilities from point-cloud level to imaging-level, significantly enhancing the intelligent driving experience. Exterior-wise, the vehicle retains the current design language, featuring LED light clusters seamlessly integrated into the front bumper for high visual distinction. It measures 5,020 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,470 mm (or 1,460 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 3,020 mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large-sized sedan. Inside, the cabin features a striking red-and-black color scheme paired with a velvet headliner to create a luxurious ambiance. New additions include a one-touch voice command button, a Boost acceleration button, an upgraded DMS (Driver Monitoring System), and enhanced door panel functionality. In terms of powertrain, the range-extended version is equipped with a 1.5T range extender and dual rear-mounted motors, delivering a combined output of 400 kW. It comes with a 52.01 kWh battery, offering a WLTC pure-electric range of 261 km.
