BMW’s all-new all-electric model—the Neue Klasse i3—will make its global debut on March 18, alongside its Touring variant. As the second vehicle built on BMW’s Neue Klasse platform, the Neue Klasse i3 features a fresh interpretation of the iconic kidney grille seamlessly integrated with LED lighting, drawing design inspiration from the 2023 Vision Neue Klasse concept car. Inside, the cabin adopts a minimalist layout devoid of physical buttons and is centered around a 17.9-inch infotainment display. Powering the vehicle is an 800V high-voltage architecture combined with BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive technology; the i3 50 xDrive all-wheel-drive variant delivers a combined output of 469 horsepower and offers a range exceeding 644 kilometers (WLTP). Additionally, BMW plans to introduce an M performance version to further expand the lineup. The first pre-production units rolled off the assembly line at BMW’s Munich plant in February.
