On March 5, Envision AESC announced the official rollout of its first sodium-ion battery cell. The cell features stable operation across an ultra-wide temperature range and combines high-rate capability, high energy density, and high energy efficiency, making it suitable for a wide range of energy storage applications. Previously, in 2025, Envision AESC became the first in the industry to mass-produce large-format lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells with capacities exceeding 500 Ah and 700 Ah. To date, the company has delivered over 100 GWh of energy storage cells globally.
