On the evening of March 5, Geely Galaxy officially unveiled the Xingyao 7, claiming it as the "world's first all-wheel-drive mid-size plug-in hybrid electric vehicle." The model had already appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 400th batch of new vehicle announcements in October 2023. The Xingyao 7 measures 4,958 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,852 mm. It features a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Styling-wise, it continues the design language of the Galaxy Xingyao series, equipped with a large inverted trapezoidal grille, vertical chrome accents, conventional mechanical door handles, and a full-width LED light bar at the rear. Powering the vehicle is a 1.5L engine (model BHE15-BFN) delivering a maximum output of 82 kW, paired with CATL lithium iron phosphate batteries. The car is also expected to be equipped with Geely’s next-generation "Leishen AI Electric Hybrid 2.0" system.
