Honda China recently released data showing that its retail sales in the Chinese market reached 28,780 units in February 2026, a decline of approximately 15% compared to 33,866 units during the same period in 2025. The year-over-year monthly figures were somewhat volatile due to the impact of the Chinese New Year holiday. Overall, Honda’s cumulative sales for the first two months of 2026 totaled 86,269 units, down about 16% year-on-year. Looking back at the full year of 2025, Honda’s total sales in China amounted to 645,345 units, a significant drop of 24.28% compared to 852,269 units in 2024, highlighting ongoing pressure on the company in the Chinese market.
