On March 6, GAC Aion officially launched its "National Battery Swap Program" and announced that the Aion RT battery-swap version will be introduced in April. As a key component of this initiative, GAC Energy—a subsidiary of GAC Aion—revealed that the company aims to build more than 2,500 battery swap stations by 2026 and expand the total number to over 5,000 within the next three years, accelerating the nationwide rollout of its battery swap network to enhance convenience in energy replenishment for new energy vehicles.
