The all-new Lexus ES had its U.S. pricing announced on March 5, starting at $48,795 (approximately RMB 337,000), and will officially launch in China this April. For the first time, the new ES is available in all-electric variants: the front-wheel-drive ES350e with a single motor (220 hp, EPA-estimated range of 483 km) and the all-wheel-drive ES500e with dual motors (338 hp, EPA-estimated range of 402 km). A hybrid version, the ES350h, is also offered. All models come standard with a 14-inch center touchscreen, wireless connectivity, and DC fast charging (10%–80% in approximately 30 minutes). Lexus’s Shanghai factory is expected to be completed in the second half of this year, with its first domestically produced model set to debut in 2027.
