Wuling Hongguang MINIEV Gen 5 Opens for Pre-order with Nai Long Collab and $1,400 Gift Package

SAIC-GM-Wuling announced today that reservations are now open for the all-new fifth-generation Hongguang MINIEV. The model is available in two CLTC range variants—205 km and 301 km—and offered in four trim levels. Featuring a “Sweet Fun Cube” exterior design and a “Caramel Cream” interior color scheme, the new MINIEV comes equipped with a 10.1-inch central touchscreen and remote control via a dedicated smartphone app. Measuring 3,268 mm long, 1,520 mm wide, and 1,575 mm tall, the vehicle adopts a four-door, four-seat layout with generous rear legroom of 793 mm. It offers a maximum trunk capacity of 838 liters and includes 20 thoughtfully designed storage compartments throughout the cabin. Under the hood, it’s powered by a 30 kW integrated electric drive unit, delivering an ultra-efficient energy consumption of just 8.9 kWh per 100 km. Charging options include DC fast charging (30% to 80% in 35 minutes), AC slow charging, and standard household charging. Safety-wise, the car features a cage-like body structure with 60% high-strength steel, standard dual airbags, and ESC (Electronic Stability Control). It also debuts Wuling’s self-developed “Shenlian” battery, which boasts PPB-level quality and multi-layer cloud-based safety monitoring.
