Ford China announced that Ford Motor Company will return to Formula 1 after a 22-year absence. Starting with the 2026 season, Ford will partner with Red Bull Racing to co-develop an all-new F1 power unit, building from the ground up a system that integrates electric and internal combustion technologies. The two parties will jointly develop control models, tackle technical challenges, and formulate optimal race strategies.
