BorgWarner Automotive Components (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. As BorgWarner’s first wholly owned manufacturing facility in China, the Ningbo campus has specialized in turbocharging and chain drive technologies since commencing operations in 2006. Its core products include turbochargers, engine timing chains, and variable camshaft timing phasers. By 2025, cumulative turbocharger production in China had surpassed 25 million units, with annual chain output exceeding 20 million pieces. The facility serves over 100 customers and has been recognized as a “National Green Factory.” Joseph Fadool, President and CEO of BorgWarner, stated that the company will continue focusing on core technologies to meet the diverse needs of global markets and evolving technology pathways. Dr. Li Xiaoqiu, President of BorgWarner China, emphasized that the company will further increase its investments and innovation efforts in China to support the high-quality development of China’s automotive industry.
