In early 2025, RoboSense launched the EM4, the world’s first mass-producible “thousand-line” ultra-long-range digital LiDAR. Starting in July of the same year, the company began customizing versions with over 500 lines for flagship models from brands such as Zeekr and IM Motors, achieving large-scale production. Built on RoboSense’s new digital EM platform, the EM4 integrates SPAD-SoC and VCSEL chips and features advanced technologies including crosstalk elimination, full-condition optoelectronic signal processing, and lossless data compression, enabling high-definition reconstruction of 3D scenes. With a maximum detection range of 600 meters and a point frequency of up to 25.92 million points per second, the EM4 can clearly identify obstacles such as white vehicles within 600 meters and traffic cones within 300 meters. Thanks to its modular platform design, the EM4 supports multiple customizable configurations—including 520-line, 720-line, 1080-line, and even 2160-line variants—making RoboSense the only company in the industry with mature customization capabilities for ultra-high-definition LiDARs ranging from 520 to 2160 lines.
