Qijing Auto announced today that its next-generation intelligent shooting brake coupe, co-developed with Huawei, has been officially named the GT7 and will be unveiled on March 17. The new vehicle features the world’s highest-resolution mass-produced 896-line LiDAR, Huawei’s XMC digital chassis, HarmonySpace cockpit powered by HarmonyOS, and an L3-level autonomous driving architecture. The GT7 supports “five-dimensional motion vector control,” leveraging coordinated operation among its triple-motor system, suspension, and steering to deliver enhanced stability and speed when cornering at high speeds. On complex road surfaces—such as mixed asphalt and ice—the “Dynamic Steering Assist” function ensures the vehicle remains stable during emergency braking without veering off course, and enables smooth, high-speed consecutive lane changes. Additionally, the GT7 has successfully completed extreme cold-weather testing, including a 40% gradient ice-and-snow hill-climb test, achieving slip-free and rollback-free performance thanks to its triple-motor traction control system. The vehicle is scheduled to launch in June this year and marks the first of two new models Qijing plans to introduce by 2026.
