On March 9, EXEED, a premium brand under Chery, announced that the first production unit of its EX7 model has officially rolled off the assembly line. As the debut vehicle of EXEED’s 3.0 era, the EX7 is the world’s first to feature an aerospace-grade fully electric mechanical brake-by-wire system (EMB), reducing braking response time by at least 50 milliseconds. The vehicle also upgrades its "Flying Fish Chassis" to version 3.0. Exterior styling adopts EXEED’s new family design language, featuring full-width LED daytime running lights, flush door handles, and a贯穿-style rear light bar with integrated ADAS indicator lighting. The interior emphasizes a tech-forward aesthetic, equipped with a 30-inch central touchscreen and a floating digital instrument cluster. The front passenger seat may feature a zero-gravity seat with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. In terms of intelligent driving, the EX7 will be equipped with the Falcon 700 system, enabling advanced, full-scenario autonomous driving capabilities. Powertrain options include both extended-range and all-electric variants: the extended-range version pairs a 1.5T engine with an electric range of either 182 km or 203 km (CLTC), while the all-electric variant uses dual motors and delivers a maximum CLTC range of 726 km.
