Starting today, Xiaomi is offering a complimentary aerodynamic upgrade service for SU7 Ultra owners who have selected the "carbon fiber dual-duct hood." This upgrade adds two new aerodynamic vanes in the hood's cutout areas, working in tandem with the active grille shutters to intelligently regulate airflow into the front compartment when the vehicle is in Track Mode or traveling above 150 km/h. This enables targeted airflow management and effectively increases overall downforce. While energy consumption slightly rises as a result, the specific impact on driving range has not yet been disclosed. Customers can schedule an in-store installation via Xiaomi’s 400 hotline or dedicated service groups starting March 2026. This enhancement is one of Xiaomi’s optimization measures addressing previous concerns regarding the carbon fiber hood.
