The first batch of display vehicles for the e7—the debut model under BYD’s new sub-brand “Linghui”—has arrived at dealerships in 127 cities nationwide, including key metropolitan areas such as Shanghai, Tianjin, and Chongqing, achieving the goal of “launching with immediate nationwide deployment, and deployment with instant showroom availability.” The Linghui e7 carries forward BYD’s Ocean Network family design language, featuring a new exclusive emblem and relocating the charging port to the rear-right side. The vehicle is offered in two front-mounted single-motor variants—100 kW and 130 kW—and is equipped with FinDreams’ lithium iron phosphate Blade Battery, delivering CLTC-rated ranges of either 450 km or 550 km, with a battery cycle life rated up to 600,000 km. Supporting BYD’s proprietary flash-charging technology, the e7 is claimed to achieve “a quick top-up in 5 minutes and a full charge in just 9 minutes.” It also features a wide-temperature-range heat pump HVAC system to enhance energy efficiency during winter conditions.
