On March 9, Schaeffler officially commenced production of its Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) in Taicang, Jiangsu Province. The product will be installed in plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) from multiple internationally renowned automakers and supplied to markets in China and Europe. Featuring high integration, high reliability, and superior performance, this DHT effectively enables seamless coordination between electric and internal combustion powertrains, significantly enhancing overall vehicle energy efficiency. This production launch marks a critical step forward for "Made in China" in the high-end hybrid core components sector, injecting new momentum into the global hybrid vehicle market.
