At a recent briefing, SAIC Motor's MG brand unveiled two new models: the MG 4X SUV and the MG 07 coupe. The MG 4X SUV debuts with a semi-solid-state battery offering a range of 510 km, supports OPPO smartphone-vehicle connectivity, and features Horizon Robotics' Game Theory-based large model for advanced driver assistance. The MG 07 is a new energy coupe available in both all-electric and hybrid variants, priced between RMB 150,000 and 200,000, and will launch in April this year. MG also announced a new naming convention, with its new energy sedans now starting with "0." By 2026, MG plans to introduce four new models spanning hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs, covering both pure electric and hybrid powertrains. Meanwhile, the Roewe brand will unveil its first AI-native premium SUV at its "Brand Night" event on April 21, officially kicking off its premium transformation strategy. Roewe plans to launch a new vehicle every three months thereafter, and the all-new Roewe i6 will also debut in April.
