The average price of gasoline in California has surpassed the $5-per-gallon mark. Local fuel prices have continued to climb, driven by significant price hikes from major gas stations such as Chevron. The American Automobile Association (AAA) stated that, in addition to traditional seasonal demand increases, energy supply disruptions caused by international conflicts are also a key factor pushing prices higher.
