A California auto detailer named Arvin sparked widespread discussion on TikTok after sharing a video of his deep-cleaning service for a heavily soiled Audi. In the clip, the car owner complained that the interior was filled with “sand.” Arvin then performed a thorough cleaning, including deep-cleaning the seats and a comprehensive interior and exterior detailing. The final result left the owner exclaiming it looked “like a brand-new car.” The service cost $225—a price the owner readily accepted and even offered a tip for—but Arvin said he’d prefer a positive review instead. Although this price falls within the industry standard range (typically $125 to $300 for a standard sedan), many online commenters still called it “too expensive,” with some claiming they could “do it themselves for $8.” Other viewers focused on Arvin’s Tesla Cybertruck, calling it “unreliable.” The video has now garnered over 1.6 million views.
