Xiaomi Auto has recently launched its official partner auto insurance—BNP Paribas Tianxing Insurance—which is now available for policy renewals in Beijing. According to screenshots shared by users, this insurance not only offers more competitive pricing but also includes value-added services such as eight roadside assistance calls, one vehicle inspection delivery service, and one comprehensive vehicle safety check. BNP Paribas Tianxing Insurance was jointly established by BNP Paribas Cardif (a subsidiary of BNP Paribas Group), Volkswagen Financial Services Overseas, and Sichuan Yinmi Technology, a company under Xiaomi Group. The insurer received approval from China’s National Financial Regulatory Administration in November 2024. Sichuan Yinmi Technology was originally a wholly owned subsidiary of Xiaomi and is now controlled by Xiaomi Electronics, with Xiaomi CFO Lin Shiwei serving as its legal representative. Currently, this insurance service is exclusively available to users in Beijing.
