Infiniti plans to launch a high-performance version of its QX80 SUV in spring 2025, marking the brand's "first step" into the performance segment. The model is expected to feature a 600-horsepower powertrain, a significant upgrade from the current 450-horsepower 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. The new variant will likely carry "Red Sport" badging, 24-inch wheels, and large red brake calipers, with exterior updates described as "noticeable but not aggressive." Priced from approximately $95,000—about 10% higher than the standard model—the high-performance QX80 will be limited to 600 units.
