XPeng P7 Unveils New "Stellar Red" Color, Adds 525 km Range in 10 Minutes of Charging

On March 12, XPeng Motors announced the launch of a new color option for its P7 sedan—"Stellar Ruby Red"—set to debut on March 18. This new finish utilizes a highly transparent red pigment combined with nano-scale particle technology, along with crystal red pearl and red-effect aluminum flakes, delivering a ruby-like clarity and depth. The clear coat thickness is 20% higher than the industry average. Built on an 800V high-voltage platform, the new P7 features XPeng’s proprietary 5C ultra-fast-charging AI battery, capable of adding 525 km of range in just 10 minutes. It can charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 11 minutes. In terms of intelligence, the P7 is equipped with three self-developed Turing AI chips (delivering a total computing power of 2,250 TOPS), XPeng’s VLA large-model-based advanced driver-assistance system, a VLM-powered cabin assistant, four-zone voice interaction, an 87-inch AR-HUD, and a 15.6-inch tri-axis rotating central display. The vehicle measures 5,017 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,427 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,008 mm, positioning it as a future-oriented AI luxury sports sedan.
