XPeng P7 Unveils New "Stellar Red" Color, Debuting March 18

XPeng Motors today unveiled official images of the P7 in a new "Stellar Ruby Red" color, announcing that this finish will make its global debut on March 18. The new paint utilizes the world’s first highly transparent red pigment combined with nanoscale craftsmanship to deliver a gemstone-like translucency. Layered reflections from crystal ruby mica and red-effect aluminum flakes create a silky, fluid interplay of light and shadow, boosting both color purity and sparkle by over 30%. The clear coat thickness has been increased by 20%, enhancing scratch resistance while delivering a mirror-smooth tactile finish. The XPeng P7 continues to embody the brand’s XMART FACE design language, featuring an illuminated logo, fastback silhouette, frameless doors, full-width lighting, and an active rear spoiler for a distinctly futuristic aesthetic. Under the hood, the entire lineup is built on an 800V high-voltage architecture paired with 5C ultra-fast-charging batteries. It offers both rear-wheel-drive (270 kW, 0–100 km/h in 5.4 seconds) and all-wheel-drive (437 kW, 0–100 km/h in 3.7 seconds) variants, with a maximum CLTC range of up to 820 km.
