Mercedes-AMG has recently unveiled the GLA 35 4MATIC "Edition Masterpiece Black," a special edition limited to just 80 units globally, exclusively available in Japan via Mercedes-Benz's online showroom. The new model carries forward the design language of the previous GLB 35 Black Edition, featuring Cosmos Black metallic paint and standard AMG Night Package elements—including high-gloss black front grille, badges, exhaust tips, and exclusive 20-inch black wheels. Inside, it upgrades to all-black Nappa leather seats paired with Black Open-Pore Wood trim, while previously optional features such as head-up display, Burmester surround sound system, and panoramic sunroof are now standard. Power comes from the familiar 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 306 horsepower, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and a mild-hybrid system, with the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system as the only drivetrain option.
