On March 12, Weineng Battery officially signed an agreement with Wuhan's East Lake High-Tech Development Zone to launch the Weineng Battery New Infrastructure Project, with a total investment of RMB 9.8 billion. The project will primarily support NIO’s BaaS (Battery as a Service) users, further enhancing its battery swap network and battery asset management capabilities. This strategic move not only strengthens Weineng’s service system in Central China but also contributes to the high-quality development of new energy vehicle infrastructure.
