Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) recently released its 2025 financial report, reporting annual revenue of RMB 423.7 billion, an increase of 17.04% year-over-year, and net profit of RMB 72.2 billion, surging 42.28% compared to the previous year—exceeding the combined profits of multiple automakers. Benefiting from a 21.5% global increase in new energy vehicle (NEV) sales, the company’s power battery sales reached 541 GWh, up 41.85% year-over-year, capturing a global market share of 39.2% and an even higher domestic market share of 43.42%. Total lithium-ion battery sales amounted to 661 GWh, rising 39.16% year-over-year. CATL continues to intensify its focus on technological innovation, launching its 12C ultra-fast charging technology and the "Tianxing" battery series for commercial vehicles. The company is also accelerating its expansion into energy storage and overseas markets, with energy storage battery sales growing by 29.13% and overseas gross margin reaching 31.44%. Currently, new factories in Hungary and Spain are under rapid construction, further solidifying CATL’s global footprint.
