Volkswagen has recently released a teaser image of the ID.3 Neo, announcing that this upgraded model will make its official debut in April. The new variant retains the ID.3’s design language while focusing on enhanced features: it is equipped with the latest Travel Assist traffic assistance system, supports one-pedal driving, and features the “Innovision” infotainment system with an optional digital key function that allows vehicle unlocking via smartphone or smartwatch. Physical buttons have been added to the steering wheel to improve ease of use. Additionally, the ID. family will introduce Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) external power supply capability, delivering up to 3.6 kW. Entry-level ID.4 and ID.5 models will be fitted with the 188-horsepower APP350 motor paired with a 58 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) high-voltage battery, increasing their WLTP range by up to 40 kilometers (approximately 25 miles).
