On March 9, Infineon Technologies and Subaru announced a deepened collaboration aimed at enhancing driving safety, confidence, and comfort in future vehicle models. Subaru will adopt Infineon’s latest AURIX™ TC4x microcontroller as the main control chip in the electronic control unit (ECU) of its next-generation Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This chip significantly boosts real-time data processing capabilities, enabling efficient fusion of multi-sensor information to deliver more reliable and faster-responsive driver assistance functions. The two companies have been working closely since the early stages of development to co-optimize the MCU design and have already achieved successful collaboration in current ADAS systems. Moving forward, they plan to further expand their partnership in areas such as in-vehicle computing and networking technologies to advance intelligent and safe mobility solutions.
