On March 12, Geely Auto Group’s advanced intelligent driving assistance system, “Qianli Haohan G-ASD,” officially received the UN R171 international certification from the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), becoming China’s first high-level ADAS system to successfully enter global markets. The certification—jointly awarded by China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) and IDIADA—is renowned for its stringent requirements, covering functional safety, cybersecurity, and human-machine interaction standards. To achieve this certification, Geely collaborated with CATARC to establish a rigorous testing and validation framework, ensuring the system’s reliability in Europe’s complex traffic environments. Built on the Smart AI Agent architecture and the “WAM World Action Model,” the system demonstrates robust scene understanding and generalization capabilities, enabling adaptation to diverse traffic regulations across countries. The first vehicle equipped with this system is expected to launch in Europe in June this year and will subsequently be rolled out across Geely, Zeekr, Lynk & Co, and Lotus brands, accelerating the global deployment of Chinese intelligent driving technologies.
