The all-new Kia Seltos has appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 405th batch of new vehicle announcements, with a domestic launch expected within this year. The new model measures 4,460 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,640 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. It features a sharper design: the front fascia adopts vertically split headlights and a wide grille, complemented by a matte silver skid plate; the side profile continues the EV5 design language, featuring flush door handles, rugged black plastic cladding, an upward-sweeping character line, and a new diagonal crease on the rear doors; the rear end is highlighted by full-width LED taillights and an extended roof spoiler. Built on an upgraded K3 platform, the new Seltos will be offered with two engine options: a 1.5L naturally aspirated unit (84.4 kW) and a 1.5L turbocharged engine (147 kW), both paired with an automatic transmission. The vehicle made its global debut in December 2023 and will initially be produced in India before rolling out to markets including China, South Korea, Europe, and North America.
