SAIC Motor's new all-electric SUV, the MG 4X, has recently appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) vehicle registration catalog. The model carries forward the MG4 family design language, featuring a full-width light bar, illuminated logo, and a sporty front bumper. At the rear, it adopts贯穿式 tail lamps, giving the vehicle high visual recognition. The MG 4X measures 4,500 mm in length, 1,849 mm in width, and 1,621 mm (or 1,627 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm, positioning it as a compact SUV. It offers a wide range of optional features, including roof rails, a sunroof, privacy glass, and front and rear parking sensors. In terms of powertrain, two variants have been filed: one with a 150 kW motor and another with a 125 kW motor. Notably, even the base version is equipped with semi-solid-state batteries, delivering a CLTC-rated range exceeding 510 kilometers. Targeting the sub-100,000 RMB market segment, the MG 4X stands out with compelling product competitiveness.
