Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, revealed during a live broadcast at the AWE 2026 exhibition that the AITO M8, launched in April 2025, has surpassed 160,000 cumulative deliveries in just 11 months, maintaining its lead in the SUV market priced above RMB 400,000. The vehicle is available in both extended-range and all-electric variants, starting at RMB 359,800. All models come standard with CATL’s 100 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated range of up to 705 km. The all-electric version debuts Huawei’s high-voltage integrated seven-in-one electric drive system and features the HUAWEI ADS 4 advanced intelligent driving system across the entire lineup. This includes a 192-line LiDAR, a rear-facing solid-state LiDAR, and five 4D millimeter-wave radars, enabling advanced intelligent driving and automated parking assistance capabilities. Thanks to its compelling product strengths and intelligent technology advantages, the AITO M8 has set a new delivery record in the RMB 400,000-class SUV segment and remains the undisputed annual sales champion.
